Liam DawsonToday on the Creighton Campus is beautiful...WAC (Wednesdays After Class)  is on the mall allowing us to make Sand Candy, which was a lot of fun.  The stereo is blasting on the mall and it is a great day to just sit outside and read or go for a walk...or go for a run for that matter in about 30 minutes when I have practice.  I received news today that I have been accepted as a Resident Advisor next year, which I am very excited about.  This is the point of the semester for me being an Education Major in which I am beginning to have a lot of projects and papers due, which is a bit hectic, but is manageable.  I recently finished my practicum at Liberty Elementary School in which I taught 2nd Grade.  It was an enriching experience, which is one thing I truely have come to appreciate about Creighton is the numerous opportunities to build relationships with organizations in the Omaha community and the surrounding area.  Another thing I have really come to enjoy is the numerous opportunities to complete acts of service for the community.

This Friday, in fact Creighton University is putting on Project Homeless Connect, which I am going to get the opportunity to help out in the childcare section.  I am going to get to play board games, draw, etc with children which I can not wait for...it should be an blast.

Well I until next time, I hope all of you have a great day!
